A Thank You to the Teachers Who Make Growth Possible
Written by Jessica Lane
Every year, Thanksgiving gives us a moment to pause and breathe for a second between report cards, behavior spikes, sticky notes, and the million tiny decisions teachers make before lunch. It is a holiday built on gratitude, and in schools, there is no shortage of things to be grateful for.
But this year, we want to give thanks for something that often goes unseen: the quiet, consistent work teachers do every day to help students grow, one tiny step at a time.
Teachers do not just teach lessons. They build confidence. They notice patterns. They track the small wins that do not show up on big dashboards. They stay curious even when overwhelmed. And they keep showing up for kids long before anyone shows them a data report or a score.
We are especially grateful for the teachers who choose clarity over chaos, who use the small pieces of daily information to guide instruction, and who focus on what their students need right now. This everyday insight, the kind gathered through observations, quick checks, and real classroom moments, is what drives true growth. It is also the heart of why Symplifyed exists.
This Thanksgiving, we want to honor:
Teachers who provide structure that helps students feel safe and capable
Educators who make learning visible so kids feel in control of their progress
Teams that choose collaboration instead of isolation
Schools that focus the list instead of adding to it
Every adult who believes that every student can grow with the right support
You are the reason the work matters. You create the clarity, connection, and momentum that help students move forward.
From myself and Jenelle, thank you for showing up, for caring deeply, and for turning small moments into meaningful growth.
Happy Thanksgiving. 🧡
