Proactive Strategies for Behavior and Inclusion

Erin Edwards is the Director of Special Education for Queens North within New York City Public Schools. A lifelong advocate for students and families, she is committed to creating inclusive learning environments where every student receives the support they need to thrive. She holds dual certifications in elementary and special education, as well as literacy certification from birth through sixth grade. She also holds School Building Leader (SBL) and School District Leader (SDL) certifications, bringing both classroom expertise and systems-level leadership to her work.
